hey guys, just a quick one.... how do you tell if the dizzys mounted correctly, im not convinced mine is as theres a bolt missing and looks like it may have been swapped around!?

if you take the cap off you can see the little locating gap on the dizzy drive

Do you mean the securing bolt is missing?

i see what you mean. im talking about the actual job lot, where the drive comes up from, its like a slide in bracket but doesnt look like its positioned right...
it has two bolt holes but only one is used.
wait there i will take you a pic let me pop to my kitchen

i think so, only has the bolt nearest the block in.
the cap has two bolts that hold it in place usualy flat heads. and the clamp that holds the dizzy drive the whole lot down has one bolt

The dizzy is only held in with 1 bolt, the cap is held in with 2. Sounds like 1 of the cap bolts is missing, if so just need to put a new one in.

all good then guys. just with the clamp having two holes i thought it would use two bolts. all is correct in that case. cheers guys.

Are you talking about the clamp at the base of the dizzy that has a bolt going through it ans screws into the block?

yeah, on the clamp base, there are two bolt holes but one bolt hold it in place, the other doesnt seem to locate anywhere.
your making me dizzy get a pic up
