Just got one of these, one of the options is measuring the dwell and RPM of a car. Where can i pick these up on a 5?

In the manual it states to put the red lead to the coil negative and the black on to a good earth. Not quite understanding the AEI yet so if someone could point out the alternative on the AEI i would greatly appreciate it!

Cheers

where the coil bolts to the aei there is a place where you can trim away a bit of plastic to allow you access to the coil contacts.

This is what i understand a coil to be, is there a form of these bolted to the AEI? I have never looked at the AEI in depth before

The coil is HT, you can just see the contacts 6, it bolts to the AEI E

Thank you Mr Cooke, as always. Hopefully that'll make a bit more sense when i've got the car next to me :crap:
