Ahh ok, so you mean door seals not inner window seals? Have you tried Mike at GT Turbo Spares mate? :)
Hello yeah just door seals.
As I have my cards out for flocking I thought I would change them as it as a slight rip.
But I just wanted to see if anyone had got some off ebay and witch ones??? and length for both side.
something like these.

Good link.
not me or the car but only pic I could find these door seal in this location I am after :agree:
there is 1000S on ebay just don't no witch style matt:confused:
Just have a look at the cross-section of the door seal on any R5, measure and compare it to the fitment guide in that link. Then measure round the door with a piece of string, put it against a tape measure and order the length required!
Most importantly, come back here and tell people the result and take pics while you're at it. :D
Or have I misunderstood?
HAHA that was why I was asking is anyone had done it already and brought some
guess not:disagree:
You're up then :D :agree:
Ordered yesterday. Here today!
I a had a chance to check door, rear window and rear hatch seals and compare today.
Rear hatch is a no go.
Door seal will work. I'll post pics as soon as I can work it out on ipad!

So it's close, but is it close enough?
Hmmm. Good pics. Maybe once it's been worn a while, the O shape will become more like the ovalated original? Perhaps the original started out more like an O than it is currently, if you see what I mean??
How best to test it? I guess being water tight is the most important aspect?
Yeah that's my question.
Or it could be that the seal needs to be 1mm thicker in the flange bit, so that the seal doesn't kick up like it seems to?
It would appear that Renault themselves have a lot of different seals.
Check these.
The older one is the rear window seal. The new one is one that Dale had in a bag, new, in his Shed of Precious parts :D

They are so close, I'd probably use it.

Actually, looking again, I think Dale might have a door seal there! I haven't compared them like for like. Oooops!
For comparison I went and opened a new front door rubber seal. See pic below. If you want a pic of a new rear window rubber section let me know and I will dig one out :agree:

I think install one side and test it out in the car wash :D
