If anyone has any tricks for door pin removal,plz let me know:crap:, I bought a removal tool ,and had no joy,I took the weight off using a jack, WD40ed the pins,but no movement! why din't they all have the torx type pins:cry:

I did the passenger side door on my 11 the same way jack did using a long punch to drive out the pins but the drivers door- just not happening! Well and truly rusted in solid... My check strap anchor points also completely gone now on the drivers side :(

definately... I used a 10cm long 5mm (I think!) punch and it worked a treat on the passenger side; if not a little fiddly as you can't quite use the punch straight-on... Also the punch is the ideal size to knock out the double split pins in the drive shaft too...
