First post!

Hi all

I thought I would join after seeing your ad in a Retro cars mag. Lucky you caught me on a day I was happy to spend some money. haha

I am from New Zealand, I am 24, i own a 1986 registered Fuego Turbo. Currently a project, rebuilding motor and a few other things to tidy it up ready for summer. then next winter I will paint.

Here is a picture of it from not long after I got it a few years ago now:

I do have a couple of Questions. Mainly in regards to tuning the carb for the new motor when it is all going. I found a few threads here already for that, so that is sweet.

Mainly where do you get different jets from?

Cheers

Welcome,

Nice to see another Fuego Turbo owner joining the club.

Person from Canada doing a nice project on one.

As for jets, majority of people will solder and drill out to spec needed. There are few places which can be found on USA / German eBay which are reasonable price for the jets though but postage is quite high I have found unless buying in a quantity.

There were three other NZ members of RTOC. It looks like one and then the next owned the same blue 5GTT.
