Does anyone know anything about this car? I know someone that is interested in buying it...

It seems cheap and it is a bit of a worry that there are no engine pics available...

Request some pictures, could be a standard bay. Ask loads of questions and view it.

Well judging by what he has listed the engine bay would be far from standard.. i have told my mate to request soem piccys

The advert mentions a full BB tuning rebuild and then at the end states that K-Tec did a full rebuild in 2008! I think that the seller has just gone through some receipts and listed what he has regardless whether or not they cancel each other out. I'm assuming that he does not really know that much about GT Turbo... Obviously I could be wrong.

I have noticed that it has the dreaded group A carb and no AFR gauge...

My mate has haggled a really good price for it, far far less than the 5k advertised and was wondering whether or not it was worth taking the risk and buying it blind (I have siad thats not ideal at all) as its so far away. He was gutted when he found out that I had sold mine as he really wanted it, he never mentioned this at the time though...!

Ask Sean Leighton on Facebook. I went to see him in Harrogate and this 5 was outside his house. Think it's had a bit of work done to the engine.

I think ive seen that car on ebay quite a few times recently?

As others said, you really need to check whats under the hood. The car may have a pile of receipts saying all sorts, but that doesnt mean to say the car still has those bits on it.
