Hiya,
Pretty much finishing off setting up the 5.
Any help appreciated.
Set boost to 20psi (as high as ringlands will tolerate)
Afr's 14.5 at idle, 13.5-14 at cruise, 11.4 @ wot 4th gear at 6500rpm
Thinking of opening up the air corrector 0.1mm at a time until about 11.8 or so.
High out put fuel pump with malpassi set to 6psi.
Soon to refit front mount, currently have the Breadbin.
Soon to fit fuel pressure gauge and charge temp gauge.
How high are charge temps when they are considered too high?
Within reason the lower the better above carb freeze at least?
If I can control the charge temps is there any benefit with methanol injection?
Currently not so expensive at around £250.

Cheers ppl x

Are you getting any bogging down during high rpm/on boost gear changes?

Hi mate,
No pulls nice all the way through.

Cool, having some issues with mine. Going to try an additional washer on needle valve. Are you running a 1.7mm needle valve?

Also I've been told with a decent front mount water/methanol injection is a waste of money and not required as charge temps will be nice and low.

Sound's like I am in a similar place to yourself, I plan to purchase a charge temp gauge too before fitting my front mount. Also fuel pressure gauge isn't required, just use it to set up malpassi pressure and remove.
