interesting question for renault gurus amongst you ;
a few renaults in 80s and 90s were fitted with trip computers .
fuegos ,9/11 turbos ,19 16v ,21,25 etc .
the computers in the continent displayed info in kms where as
in uk it was miles and so on .
the question is , were these trip computers produced specially for
the car ? as in lhd and rhd or is there something else such as ecu
that makes them work in miles or kilometres ??
otherwise is there a way to convert a trip computer to work the
other way around ?
i.e : trip comp from uk car to display kilometres
