View Full Version : ND 2015 Frog Pod Retro Weekend Sat/Sun 20/21 June 2015 - Jobs Left to do!

So, 1 week to go before ND 2015 and in true RTOC style who is ready or not ready and what is left to do before the weekend lads?

1, I need to clear the rest of the spares/junk out of the boot that have been rattling around for the last couple of days whilst I have used the 5 as a daily.

2, Buy a new tent as some tool nicked my tent last year.

3, General clean/tidy up and check over the 5, quick oil & filter change as I dont think ill have time to do much else :ashamed:.

Not much really. Tidy up / finish fitting the starter relay I fitted last week. Give the car a check over and top the fluids up. I suppose I should clean it as well.

Other than that I just need to gather some tools and spares together and by the food and beer. Looking forward to it now :)

Oh feck, what am I thinking, I really thought it was the weekend after next. Think I'm buggered.

The 5 is going to Mark tomo for a full Carb rebuild and get all the timing in and whack up the boost I have done just over 600 miles since rebuild so time to give it some welly :burnrubber:

MOT, tax and insurance. It hasn't been started for 8 weeks either!!

MOT'd Insured just need to tax the old girl, change oil, buy a spare clutch cable and cross my fingers for the trip ;)

Drop engine oil and put fresh oil and new filter on,
Sort out the rough running (Hopefully just ECU setting's to be amended),
get some miles on the new engine before the long drive to pod,

Bought a new tent so one less thing to do, next up is give the 5 a general clean & checkover then load and hit the road! :burnrubber:
