Hi folks
Can some one tell me the best place to buy new or refurbished rear brake calipers for my R5gtt, what other cars have the same calipers? The best price I've found so far is £84 a side, thanks in advance

Yes mate, they are the same caliper as Peugeot 106 gti, Saxo, 205 gti and I'm sure other Renaults have the same calipers on, bought mine from Pages.

New poster! (less than 10 posts)

Im new on here but have been researching parts for while. CGB has them for £69 a side refurbed to like new. Or keep an eye on ebay, they sell refurb kits cheap enough if you wanted to have a go yourself.

You'll probably struggle to get them much cheaper than £69 a side I'd have thought? When I bought mine (about 2008/9) I got them from GSF on an exchange basis.

I bought one last year for a Saxo I think. Can't remember price but it was on exchange basis.

Motor factor will probably charge you GTT tax too though, when essentially it's the same part as the saxos etc.

Cheap but can do better ;)

£40 each or £75 a pair delivered ;)

And you get a tenner back if you can get your old one back to them :) :)

eBay item number: 231133248710 or 231592502185

At this price why bother with second hand or trying to refurb your own :)
