does anyone know what each wire does on the speedo plug on the back of the dash.

theres 3 wires red, bare wire and a white wire....

any suggestions anyone ?

I'm trying to wire a nordskog digital speedo...
an early assumption made was

red requires 12v ignition
bare wire is earth
white wire is signal and wire to gauge

would it be easier to fit an after market sensor ? is so any recommendations ?

its was $157.95 for the speedo back in 2005 and then import vat on top...

but i have got also the tacho and fuel gauge which are working and air / fuel ratio just waiting to order an lc-1
