Cold overcast day with rain on and off, forecast was more rain later in the day so first timed run was expected to be our only dry run. Track was very cold and covered in cack from the Grand National

Possibly but more likely to be lack of grip. It was quite cold, 9-10 degrees and the tyres were just not working.
And neither was my brain
