Oil pressure gauge

Any thoughts on this one ???

Oil pressure gauge has been working fine since engine rebuild, but now either is intermittent or not working at all, it usually sits around 4 but now only just moves off the bottom...

Could it just be the sensor in the sump????

Sounds like a bad connection. Sensor in sump measures oil level then once engine running measures oil pressure. Look at connections on right hand side front of block below where turbo oil feed is and you'll see the pressure sensor underneath banjo, clean up connectors, may also be worth doing the level sensor on front of sump. It should switch from level to pressure however old french electrics can be a little unreliable. ;)
