Looks like a good local event for the East Coast Massive, Retro Kings in association with Retro Rides on Sunday 31st May 2015 at good ol' Snetty. Ticket prices are £12.00 online, £15 on the gate and £14 for cheeky Saturday night camping.
Retro Kings is a new-for-2015 event, showcasing the UK's finest old-school and classic cars, with a full day of non-stop action on and off the track. The star cars at this event were all built before 1995.
Track action will be headlined be Retro Time Attack, a series for highly-tuned classic cars aiming to set the fastest time of the day. Newer modified machines, sporting outrageous aerodynamic parts and unique pieces of bodywork, will star in rounds of modern Time Attack. Time Attack series recreate the drama and intensity of F1 qualifying sessions, as drivers try to squeeze every ounce of performance out of the car, against the clock, until the dying moments.
Additional circuit activity includes a demonstration from a race-prepared Super Tourer, representing the British Touring Car Championship's '90s golden era, drift demonstrations, and passenger rides.
Off-track activities include a concours, Group B rally anf F1 displays, exhibitor stands, family-friendly entertainment, a funfair and much more.
