Of course I don’t think it is so important that the snapshot is blurred...
Here the construction from MRS2 and MRS3.
And it was important for me, that the hysteresis adjustment will be possible without expansion of the damper.
Lying under the car you have still, but the robust, larger adjuster to the piston rod around will be able to find.
Damper eyes in rubber or unibal, let's see. At the rear axle not so important. And of course, adjustable length:

yes the absolute perfect way would be to develope new torsion bars. i'm in agreement with you.
but that's very consuming. and the required unit volumes immense. and how much you willing to pay?
that is the reason, that is attempted, to cover up / bridge the rear suspension with actually too hard shock absorbers.
the simplest possible solution.

therefore, on the rear axle, I want or I can't for cost reasons for the customer, develop other torsion bars, including the stabilizer bars. it would be nice.

so for the rear axle, I don't want to reinvent the wheel and I offer for the rear axle of the r5 and clio1:
-nothing, use the original shock absorber (light version)
-shock absorber with fixed groupe n set up and bushings, optional with unibal (best compromise, street, racing, country road, alps, nürburgring) (pro version standard, with unibal option)
-shock absorber with fixed groupe a set up and unibal (very hard, absolutely (grand prix) circuit) (pro version optional)

Also are you saying you have developed an R5GTT coilver set? We would be really interested in a look at this as there isn't a great range for the 5GT.;)

for the r5 and clio 1 there's anything at the front axle like the current brothers:
full adjustable m52 monotube shock absorber
adjustable unibal camber plates (only r5)
adjustable camber with a long hole in the bracket below (all)

rear axle:

Arno, I completely understand. I have tried to have some Torsion Bars made in Australia and it was going to cost A$1200 (GBP600) for one set (no roll bars).

Are you able to adapt any of the designs you have? The reason for asking is that I want to run the Front Hubs from a Clio2 172 on my R5 GT Turbo. I will also fit the 172 Wishbones (A-Arm/Control Arm) which will increase the track width and therefore the effective King Pin Inclination (KPI).

It might be as easy as using the Clio2 172 Coilover with some light modification to the Hub Attachment Brackets?

I'd be interested in your opinions on this.

yes, this cost for new and other torsion bars are realistic...

to adapt a r5 rsc competition with clio 1 front axle parts is absolutely no problem.
only the under bracket must exchanged against the clio 1 version.
the rest of the height can be adjust with the damper length in combination with the bracket.
and the price is the same of course. I need only a info with the order, if that comes into question for you.

Taken from the price list PDF above are the following prices for GTT suspension:

RSC Competition Pro (with rear spring, rear damper & unibal- camber plates - stabilizer bars & custom color with surcharge) 2080CHF (£1418).

RSC Competition Light (without rear spring and/or rear damper - unibal- camber plates, stabilizer bars & custom color with surcharge) 1690CHF (£1152).

Seeing the quality, I can understand why the price is at the high end of the market. :agree:

I used www.xe.com to do the currency conversion.

yes of course, my target was also to develop something that fits into a market gap.
and this includes a coilover with the latest and best technology also for youngtimers.
there's no point, equal to develop, as there are already and to bring to the market.
there's already enough....;)

yes, the perform very well.
target market is between kw clubsport and kw competition. but more at kw competition.
better than biilstein, h&r and similar öhlins.
and the quality, look and performance is equally the same. fits together!

rsc light, is this only front struts and camber bolts? 1690chf or 1890chf? 2 pdfs show different prices?

If so @1890chf thats £1275 before shipping etc for 2 front struts and camber bolts :eek:

They'd have to be lifetime warranty against any defects even corrosion, and able to be rebuilt.

They look lovely but how do they perform? Any shock absorber comparison tests carried out?

We already have some decent suspension brands about in the uk for around half the price.. I need more than good looks to consider that much money :confused:

There's a huge range in price and performance for suspension. Raceland make cheap and cheerful range and then you have high end manufactures like Ohlins that make kit for WRC. WRC is about 10,000 pounds a corner!

I guess what I'd like to see is a customer review against something like KW V3 or similar. Th biggest problem with the GTT is finding a manufacturer that caters for high end on a GTT. Another question is whether anyone wants to spend that kind of cash on a GTT?

I got some MCA Blue suspension for my WRX and the difference was profound!

Yep, this is absolutely high-end gear. As a punter, you pays your money and takes your choice. If you're not in the market for diamonds with the requisite money, there's no point complaining about the cost of diamonds!

Woz is right, the only thing missing here is performance comparison (and ideally somebody who has had this stuff in their hands to be able to better ascertain comparative quality with the other high quality kit).

yes it's a high quality product, not only in the materials, but also in the set up and performance.
and seen as a whole, it is not too expensive. still cheaper than a Öhlins, or a competition of kw.
but just as good, or even slightly better.

I haven't got compare in gb. Here in Switzerland have been going some r5 clio 1 and the newer models anyway.

yes, the picture for r5 gt turbo is similar.
except the r5 has unibal camber plates as option. and the color is grey/yellow.

It's great to get some feedback from an owner that uses their car on track. Did the owner improve track times?

An improved track time is not necessarily the only indication of a good setup. Consistency is one of the better indicators that the setup is working well as it means the driver feels confident with the car and is able to maintain momentum. It's also a good indicator that car is predictable on the limit.

most selling at the moment is Switzerland and Germany, then france.
most models: MRS3, then MRS2, then CRS3, then R5 GT Turbo / GTE (ok, normal, because almost as the development direction)

but:
i'm about to gain a foothold in the UK. with several tuning companies. it goes well forward...!

Arno with all these great pic's have you had any feedback on the r5 gtt as to how they compare? only ask as I am after a set of rear adjustable dampers for my r5 and am tempted to give these a try :-) wondering if you could do me some kind of deal :D:agree: (Only need rear dampers but must be adjustable). Do I get a colour choice?

James, unfortunately, I offer for r5 and clio 1 (with torsion bar) only damper with fixed characteristic for the rear. Group N or group A set up, with or without unibal.
The RSC monotube dampers can't build so short and it would not to reach an advantageous in combination with these rear axles.
The expense is not as a percentage of income.

But there is a trick:
With a very good damping performance at the front axle, you can relieve the work for the rear axle.
A full RSC at the front in combination with a groupe N shock absorber, you get a very good complete package.
Still better than the previously known coilovers.
My clio williams is fantastically with this combination. Absolutely calm and confident!
And don't forget:
For R5 you get additional the adjustable unibal camber plates...

Normally i don't offer another color as the standard "RS" (grey/yellow) for the R5.
But if you really want, we can look.
Exceptional, because you were the first R5 in UK with a RSC Competition... ;)

Whats the price for a full set?, I will also need some stiffer spring's seeing as my engine is the clio F7p engine but turbo charged suppose would need a similair poundage to the clio williams :-) also are the rear adjustable damping?

I am liking the gold, with orange adjusters's and black shaft :-)

the RSC Competition Pro für a C405 is chf 2280.-:

-12 times hardenss adjustable
-camber adjustment with eccentric srews / longhole in the under bracket
-harder spring as normal is not a problem.
-at the rear i only offer a fix groupe n set up or fix groupe a set up with unibal bearing.
because a rsc monotube damper for a oem roating rod makes no sense and to become the whole damper Technology in a short rear damper is not possible.
-the adjustable unibal camber plates are available as a option (+chf 490.-)
-for the C405, there is usually only the color combination RS (grey/yellow). therefore, the parts for this model are already colored (the main color grey, bracket and camberplate) on stock.
but the second color of the ajuster etc. were still selectable (normaly not at the c405 also).
-if need be, to recolor of all maincolored parts would be possible
-upcharge for a special color is chf 390.-

the s2 customer was at easter on the hockenheimring.
for function test motor / mapping / temperatures and to see what the RSC coilover can and get to know it.
the tire had actually been through and the video you realize, that the tire pressure was certainly already risen too high towards the end of the session.
otherwise his feedback was very good. he felt at first attempt well with it, and it was a lot better than the kw v3, that he previously had it.
He led the ranking, with just one second ahead. But clearly, the vehicles and drivers qualities were there mixed.

Welcome +R, bye bye loose back! This was my first impression after the first test ride with the RSC Competiton Pro in my Civic Type-R FK2. For me personally, the Civic Type-R FK2 with active +R Mode and not perfect ground is not easy to drive. This has changed fundamentall. It’s indeed tight, but it dampens progressively and the ground contact remains much longer than before. Then there was the loose back. It makes fun, if you have to drive always under tension, but in the everyday business is a bit annoying. With pleasure, I realized that this property was now gone, and the Civic Type-R FK2 is now much better on the roads. It’s almost superfluous to mention, that the car can be moved around the curves better and faster. What is also exciting is, that I don’t miss the electronic OEM damper control at all. The adaptive damper system of the RSC Suspensions coilover makes the job outstanding.

Ok, then I give here now also my Feedback. I myself drive a Renault Mégane 3 R.S. Ph3 Trophy, which is now used more than Tracktool. Since I have installed the RSC Competition Pro in April 2017 with some further changes in the Autohaus Fahrbach in Bad Mergentheim (Germany), I have been able to test it in a long and versatile way. The first trackday on the Nordschleife was then already in April, and I had a cozy journey with the setting “7 clicks open” (= in the direction of soft) of max. 12 clicks. Already on the Highway, I noticed how the RSC Competition Pro coilover works much better with ground waves and edges (transverse grooves) than the original Cup suspension. In corners, such as a motorway exit, you notice much stronger side forces because of -2.5 degrees camber at the front axle and -2 degrees camber at the rear axle. Then at the racetrack, I adjust the RSC Competition Pro within 2 minutes on “2 clicks open” at the front axle and “3 clicks open” at the rear axle of max. 12 clicks. After 4-5 laps I had full confidence in the RSC Competition Pro and the new Set Up. I could instantly drive 15-20 seconds faster than before with the Cup suspension. The car goes more jagged and much faster around the corners, and in long corners it pulls the Mégane more inside than before with the Cup suspension. After other everyday tests I can’t fault anything. The RSC Competition Pro runs perfectly, is very stable and quiet when braking. On the race track of Anneau du Rhin (F) I drove the RSC Competition Pro completely closed (0 clicks open = max hard) to front axle and rear axle. It worked perfectly on the race track. With some modifications, such as the ATS GTR, Yokohama AD08R, brake cooling, Recaro Pole position seat etc., the Mégane 3 R.S. Ph3 Trophy works on the Nordschleife and other circuits first class! This is also due the RSC Competition Pro. Thus the Mégane makes much more fun and is more and more at home on racetracks. I am very satisfied with the quality and the driving performance that was possible with the RSC Competition Pro, and I will continue to drive diligently and give feedback again with some further changes.

It's great to see you've broken into the Australian market! There is a very respectable following the Renaultsport range and some have modified their cars extensively.

Hopefully whoever has ordered the kit is on a forum and reports favorably on them as this will help with sales. Aussies are reluctant, as are others, to purchase a product if it doesn't have local after sales support, but this is quite often going to be the case for a European car.

Yes you are right.
It's not easy to sell far away. The customer of this kit is represented in the australian oz renault sport forum. I had also registered there on his recommendation there.
But it turns out to be difficult to show (only) my products there. Pity that some forum operators do this, and their user withheld great products from all over the world.
I myself also run a german speaking Renault Sport / RS Center forum.
And despite my own product, I have nothing against discussions about competing products as long as they are fair and objective. Which works well there too...
