How to fit R19 seats. [Archive]

Just bought a full R19 leather interior.
I know the rear bench base hinges have to be fixed to the floor.
How difficult is it to switch the front subframes?

I fitted these to my old 5, the rear bench went straight in with a squeeze IIRC. I fiddled about / modded with the 19 subframes and used them, didnt have to weld on renault 5 subframes on which was nice

had them seats in my old phase 1 19 16v..... most comfy car seats 2 of ever graced my ass ;)

Hey guys, Picked up the seats on sat and they are in pristine condition!!
Fitted the rear benches and they look sweet.

Now its time for the front seats. Can anyone advise me in what direction to head in. I.E. Change the subframes or mod the 19's subframes?

The 19's sub frame is much wider than the 5's. The R19 seats have seat belt pretensioners, should I leave these on?

Once I have found a way of fitting it all I will add photo's and description on how to fit to the site for future ref. ;)
