There is a thread on piston heads that says city tires is a dormant website or something :crap: probably best you don't order off that site.

Think that's who I used. They were slightly cheaper last August. The tires were stamped July 14.

My car failed it's mot on a tyre today, but I can't seem to find one locally, and as its my daily I need to find one ASAP!

I have just looked in the links above but the tyre sizes keep coming up with not available or come up with a tyre size of 185 60 14R when I enter my REG.

Anyone know of any other suppliers?

195/55/13 seem to be difficult to get hold of once again. I did email Uniroyal a few weeks back to see if they would be producing more but no reply. There is a new Michelin on ebay and a used Uniroyal but the Michelin must be a million years old so not sure you would want that on a daily. Try GT Turbo Spares, you never know what Mike has tucked away :)

Cheers Mark, I did see the Uniroyal on EBay, and it's not a million miles from me either, but I know another tyre is close to the limit and wanted to know if these are still available.

Mike said he had a used one also, but no new ones.

It would be good to know if they are still being produced. If they're no longer making them, I might be tempted to have word with the guy that owns Blockley tyres, and see if he would get some made.

Is anyone using the Yoko A539s? They look like a decent tyre for the money.

yes 185/60/13

Great lasting tyre and ok for just general use with a little abuse, not so great if you wish to push it harder but thats not what i use them for, there just a general use tyre on old phase 1 wheels,i have used toyo 888 for years but they wear fast and only serve one purpose.
