i'm looking at gettin a stud conversion kit, however when i last bought new wheel bolts for the car they lasted 5 minutes shiny then corroded as i think they are zinc coated or alloy or something? what do i need to purchase to stop this lack of shinyness? can i get stainless steel studs and adonised nuts or something? or is stainless too brittle for wheel studs?

any advice much appriciated

cheers

good chrome ones might be your best bet ? like you say I don't think you'd find (or want) stainless studs or nuts :crap:

Do you use nasty wheel cleaner fluids? The ones on the T are still almost as new 3+ years on. doesn't really help your problem now but maybe later.
