Lovely looking five and some interesting pipe runs.

It's low at the back - bet you feel every bump in the road.

Has mike done a resto on this car or is it one of his from stock?

Engine bay looks so fresh!

It has 35mm Apex springs on the front and the back has been lowered to match...

The original engine was a Phase 1 and in a a poor state, so had a new one fitted and totally rebuilt to a show standard, new high lift cam, lightened and balanced bottom end etc. engine bay repainted while engine out, made sense really....

Only the engine and bay, I bought it from a guy in Bedford, 6 owner no history as such, been off road a while I think as the tyres had a date code of 2004...

Very nice . Your pipe on top of the oil breather pot thing goes into the wing , where does it connect to ?

Mike tells me its the breather for the carb, as its all been tuned, gas flowed no need for the perc fan.....😕

Looks like a quality job that :agree:

Be aware that you are missing the small bonnet cable that is a backup in case the bonnet stay comes out of it's seating. It runs from the bonnet stay hinge to the upper cross member.

Without this, the bonnet is able to go too far forward and it can damage the grill if that happens. :agree:

Ahh of course :agree:

Just pop down to any meet and check out other folk's cars. Pretty sure there's a hole for a rivet in the plastic bonnet stay clip (at the bonnet end), and the other end rivets to the front panel's top member.
