Had a engine rebuild not long ago. It had a gen renault water pump fitted. Around 1.3-2k of revs it sounds like theres a loose ball bearing knockin around inside!. Iv been bleadin air threw pipe blead screws but its really anoying. Any ideas

Have you tried to listen to waterpump internals with a screwdriver?

Had screwdriver on housing to my ear. Thats how i could tell it was water pump

Didnt know if it was a air lock or dodgy pump...il get on phone to reno

Have you took belt off to see if there is any movement on pulley wheel?
