Hi my names josh I'm 20 , i have just become a full member.

I own a 1987 Phase 2 renault 5 gt turbo in pearl white.
has been in a garage dry stored for 6 years until i brought it.

At the moment i am in the process of restoring it.
i am painting the car inside and out atm in the original colour
but instead of pearl i have out xirallic in the Topcoat so it looks
a lot more shiny.

I work in a Industrial and commercial paint shop
mixing car paints etc. hope to have the car on the road by march
but there is no great rush as i want it to be a minter :)

Welcome Josh. Sounds like you work at the right place to give the 5 some live on bodywork side as a lot of people do get put off doing this. As said get some pics, I take it is on a E plate, will have a bit of mixture between phase 1 and phase 2 normally. Any plans on engine wise or just going to get it up and running and using it after its 6 years sleep

Thanks everyone for the messages. :)

I Will upload pictures very soon ;) as for the engine side of things I'm going to rebuild the engine standard with a couple of light mods as this will be my second car and first performance car. I own a corsa SXI 1.2 btw so just wanna drive it on the road and get used to it first.
I already have a couple of parts for my car like:

PowerFlex full Polybushes

Strut Brace

2.5" down pipe

3 1/2 inch exhaust

Pace intercooler

Samco silicone hoses

JR Induction kit

alloy carb top

Boost gauge

Probably forgot a couple of things.

My most recent purchase is a bailey motorsport headertank that i have been trying to find for some time. I prefer the look of it compared to other tanks.

The car is running on some Cossie look alike Wolfrace alloys.

I have some Spax RSX Coilovers coming and a OE front grill and front bumper mouldings
