clio 182 heaters

My girlfriends heaters have stopped working air con too.

you put them on and the dial where it shows the temperature and fan speed comes on just no air hot or cold comes out of the blowers. ive checked all the fuses and all are ok.

anyone ever had this before? any help would be much appreciated cheers as its freezing in there compared to normal lol:sad:

ive got a feeling this part is the problem. as it looks like its covered in glue and ive never seen it before like this whilst hoovering etc.

and i read somewhere on the net about a part and the glue melting. also there is a buzzing noise coming from the same area.

could any1 shed any light as to what this part is? and it does move when you try and put the heaters on/off cheers

looks like an electric mixer flap fella.. its prob seized or broken

found out it was the heater resistor. have now replaced this and there working again.

need to find out what the chip is on there so i can replace it as some bloke on clio sport said you could fix them but he never got back to my pm. cheers
