Hi all, i have a friend who works for a company called I-MOB http://www.i-mob.co.uk/ who supply and fit vehicle tracking systems.

I have asked him if it would be possible to arrange for a group buy scheme for us which he didnt have a problem with.

So if anyone is interested could you please let me know and let me know if you have any questions that you cant get answered from there website.

I am going to find out what system we could have, the cost (which i would have thought would be depending on the numbers we can get) and the installation of the trackers (as they are CAT1 approved) again if you have any other questions please feel free to ask and i will find out the answer!

Cheers Chris

Chris,

We only provide the units supplied and installed by i-mob trained installers. I have spoken to my colleague and one of our dealer/installers, we are putting a package together. We have to protect the SRP so that other dealers do not complain about us supplying at low prices they are unable to match. So the idea is that the dealer/installer will offer a promotional deal to RTOC members for say a period of 2 months and provided that there is a minimum order of X (TBC) there will also be a installation area for the price, any RTOC member wishing to have a unit installed outside of the installation area will need to negotiate a rate based on mileage outside of the area.

I also need to clarify that CAT 1 = A Thatcham approved alarm/immobiliser FYI CAT 2 = A Thatcham approved immobiliser http://www.thatcham.org/security/index.jsp?page=75 (http://www.thatcham.org/security/index.jsp?page=75) . Our TT1 and TT2 products where Thatcham TQA approved but we have removed them from sale as there was simply not the demand for them and it costs us approximately £10k PA to have them listed by Thatcham!

Our TT3 and TT5 products are much more advance in their functionality than the TT1 and TT2 products anyway, please look at the website for details or call me it’s easier to explain over the phone. Websites are below (UK).

I will be back to you with pricing and packages ASAP.

Just got this email from the bloke!
