I bought a piper 285 cam the guy said it was a blank but on the box it says reprofiled does this mean it's a reground cam and not a blank?

certainly does. It might be a little more tappy when it's in and running but with an adjustable pully they normally time well enough and still provide the extra that a big blower can take advantage of :agree:

So what turbo would you suggest with a 285cam and vernier ?

Personally i will always say a T28. if lags not your thing then go for a full T25. Both will work well with the 285 camshaft.

First post!

Can I ask if the reprofiled cam has the original CU stamped into it or do they re stamp it? I'm asking as I'm trying to ID my cam as Ive been told it a uprated one up its marked as CU.
Thanks

Yes it would still have CU stamped on the end but would also have new stamps on it aswell like PB285, kt200 etcc.. what else you got on it??
