Im in the situation of not being able to active my rad fan. To cut a long strory short, the 172 rad im using does not have a traditional screw in type of switch. Now my ecu may have the option of switching the fan on (cant find any info) or i need some sort of external heat sensitive switch to place on the rad. Any ideas chaps??

How about T-ing into the bottom rad hose with a metal spacer and get a boss welded in for the switch?

does it not have the ability to switch a fan on and off? or is that where the problem is?
From the little I know the Adapt should be able to switch it .It has 8+ Aux in and 16 Aux outs that are configurable to temps, load etc .Yes ? or get me coat ?

Im sure its the omex ecu that controls the fan on mine , and i can remember reading the ecu manual about cooling fan control :)

yeah i think you need to get your ecu to do the work, the omex does do it tho i have the original ecu on mine still doing it
