VAG Gearbox conversion for the F4RT

Just after information as to which box people use for the conversion. I've heard the 'O2M' box, but there seems to be lots of VAG boxes with that code. Audi S3's, TT, etc

Any O2M box will be fine, its just the gear ratios what you will be after. A lot of the people who do drag racing go for the diesel ones but think that means 6th gear is geared to well over 200mph. I have gone for the Seat Cupra R gearbox only because it came up cheap with all the items needed from the car.

i also went for the seat Cupra R ERR box. :agree: yet to be fitted tho. still need adaptor plate from chris and gearbox support made up :cry:

Just noticed it's the F4RT engine so that will be for different mounting positions

Drw diesel box on mine and it's spot on in the first 5 gears with 6th being a little to tall. I think 80 mph in 6th is 2500 rpm haha. Think it's gear to around 230mph in 6th flat out ;)
