production numbers for this Renault 5 GT Turbo

Someone writing an article on the Renault 5 GT Turbo for C&SC magazine asked me the production numbers for this model.

Any one here know?

I checked Wikipedia and 'How many are left' but those didn't have that data.

Is it the British market Ian or worldwide?

Worldwide would probably be easiest to find from one of the French fan sites.

I'll try a pm to Paul B as he's quite clued up on that side of things I think.
