hi, is there any recommended coolent for the 5 turbo? i.e red stuff or blue, or Renaults own? thanks

Iv used red but most guys go with Renault green about £17 I think

I think it's ok to have whatever you want in, as long as it's all the same colour. There have been some excellent threads on this in the past.

Use renault type d coolant. 5ltrs ready mixed from the dealers is about £11. I found coolant temps are more stable with the proper coolant.

Any coolant is fine in my experience. Avoid mixing colours though as that apparently can cause trouble.

I didn't realise the green Renault stuff was so cheap :agree:
