Car being sold soon how much should I ask?

Well not long had this and in the process of putting it through its test so will come with 12months t&t some history 90k miles new sills wax oiled under now ;) rebuilt engine.

Not sure what to ask though does it make a difference that its a J reg?

Being a J does make it less common, but It will only receive more if someone is willing to pay it.

I have not owned it for more than 2 months but feel its not practical to do 20k a year in ;)

I got it with no mot and im getting it through the mot and then selling on so not sure what its worth hence the question

A lot of people will have different opinions on how much a car is worth, hence why I made the comment before. Without looking at the car it's hard to say but if I were to buy your car I would offer you £1000 for it, BUT that's just me ;)

What the body work like? Is it the one in your profile pic? If so, and with the mods listed I would say it is worth about £1700 - £2000. But TBH it is only worth what someone is will to pay. Tell a young chav it has group A door handles and a stage 3 ariel and you could possibly add £500 to the value. :laugh:

Yeah one in my pic bodywork is really good only 2 slight bits of surface rust on the bottom of the doors but nothing to worry about

What did you pay for it out of interest?

My guess now would be getting £2000 tops.

Paid £1100 for it with no tax or test and lots of welding to be done

hmm 1600 is what I was going to pay for it with MOT before you got it so around that value? put it up to 1800 and see what happens
