After refitting the dash I have spent the morning re-connecting everything but have been left with this plug:

Black wire and yellow wire connected to the plug.

Can't find where it can connect to?

Anybody help please?

Looks like the one which came off the back of my cigar lighter.

It's 100% for the lighter socket. :agree:

Damn Im too good.... :D

In all fairness I only know cos I took my ashtray/cigar lighter out at the weekend. The plug above delivers the power to the back of the cigar lighter - it plugs directly onto it, and theres another 3rd wire with a spade connector on which clips onto the cigar lighter housing, which i presume is power to light the cigar socket up.

Thanks for all the help BUT I have just checked my lighter and it only has 2 electrical fittings?

1. Black plug for the back of the lighter.
2. Single spade down the side of the lighter for lighting.

After double checking, whilst this looks very similar to the cigar lighter connector it does seem to be just a spare connector as on my car it doesnt plug into anything either. The one to the cigar lighter actually has 3 wires, one yellow & 2 black, whereas this only has the 2.
