Just fitting clutch cable.genuine.. the clutch is valeo green. the pedal has about 1ins play before theres any pressure. Is this normal
Or is it something to do with ratchet mech.

I am unable to even move the arm on my box after replacing the clutch. Did you put the release bearing back in?

yes mate, that was same with the arm..solid.. until I put cable on. the arm is still solid, its just bit of play in pedal im bothered about

could I have got clutch plate in wrong way round?

Mine has some play in it before it depresses the clutch, I think it's normal. Can you get all gears without issue? You might want to re-set the clutch pedal.

this is the side of the clutch what I bolted to the face of the fly wheel is this correct ? can you HELP? the black bit In the middle is alignment tool if this really is the correct way then you must be right its the ratchet and cable ..... just really want confirmation if this is the right or wrong way for this to face the flywheel.

Thanks very much for help. Got very paranoid. Stripped gearbox off..all fine. Had it rite way.must be clutch pedal...how does that adjust..massive thanks to who replyed.
