Here I am working my pearl,had it for 6months and just started doing some bits, I have had loads of 5s in the past and all though I love oe look its not for me,here is some pics and will up load more as I get on. This pic was before I left for body shop

Cheers for comments yeah i do like to put my own stamp on it,stripped the interior out this morning and fitted new seats,doors cards, half roll cage and double din centre console here are some pics

Not at all. Just saying I espied them in one of the photos. They are period and you don't see many around. I assume they haven't been available to buy new for some time.

As regards whether they are any good in terms of styling/taste, it's each to their own. :agree:

That is true each to there own, to be honest I was not and still am not sure about them, but they came with the seats so thought will see if I get used to seeing them in my car,if not off they go.

Where did you get the seats from? I used to have a raider years ago and I had my seats and door cards done exactly the same. Looking good :agree: hopefully getting my pearly white resprayed this winter and back to it`s best.

I brought the seats from a guy who had a baby blue r5 and was stripping it for parts,next yr ul have a nice fresh pearl then

Engine is now out and the bay is getting prepared for a respray, also will be starting engine soon,uprated cam and few other goodies

Where are you getting the car resprayed? Im on the look out for someone to do mine but want a pucka engine out job

I'm doing it myself as have played about spraying many years ago, but this year when I had the funds I sent it off to have a full respray and it came bk not to a good standard at all, I was gutted and still am that I waisted all that money, so decided to give it a go and it payed off as looks pretty good, sorry I can't help as to wear to get ya 5 sprayed
