Whats this carb off [Archive]

I recently bought a selection of parts for a 5 and it included was was said to be a 5 gt turbo carb but i've never seen one like this on a 5:confused:
Anyone know what it could of come off?

Yeah its a sloex carb, still has the metal tag on it but its worn over the years so can't really read it anymore.

may as well pull the jets out of it.

I think Beetles use a 32mm solex.

Yeah i'll be stripping it all and seeing if there's anything worth saving like jets.

my 1.1 campus had something like that.. i remember it by the rubber flappy thing on the side that is like puttin ya finger over a hole lol
