What oil should I be using for a R5 running around 200bhp?

Also, what oil usage should I expect
If any so I can monitor?

When you say oil usage, do you mean how much it eats? Mine was running around 170bhp and never ate any.... I used Fruchs 10-50 I think but I'm not too sure...

You will probably need to change your oil every 2000-3000 miles to keep the engine sweet.

How many litres does a R5 engine hold?

About 3 to 3.5 litres, some people run semi synthetic, some fully synthetic depending upon useage, state of tune etc. Genuine Purflux LS590 oil filter is recommended too to ensure good oil pressure. ;)

Can anyone confirm what grade oil? Before i order.

IT all depends on your oil temps but if your cars running 160-200hp then I would suggest 10/50 fully synthetic. Below that and 10/40 semi will do.
