Anyone used a chrome aerosol spray paint? I'm Thinking of doing the rocker cover?

As above has anyone tried the chrome aerosol spray paint you can buy?

Was it any good? I'm thinking of doing the rocker cover with it.
Or am I better off just doing it black?

We used it on parents Ford Consul, on the initial spray it looked good, but it soon dulled down and just looks like normal silver really.

there isn't really a chrome 'wet' spray available on the market.

I have used some product from custom creation paints, but it is only about 70-80% of a full chrome:

It's a serious amount of work too. There is another product, but not worth the hassle to be honest.
You can get a 'chrome' powder coat, but it isn't very good
