Water in oil!

Noticed when I took oil cap off today after running the 5 that there seems to be water in my oil! Here's a few pics

Also noticed the radiator seemed to have steam coming out of the plastic sides near to the oil cooler cud this be the cause? There doesn't seem to be any in header tank but I think I'm loosing abit of coolant. Any ideas?

Radiator split.:agree:If its not that then possibly the liner seals.

I think it's defo split mate, will order a new alloy one and sep oil cooler and change oil see how it is after that

I still need to take my c1j apart at some point this is why I went b18 but people think I might of cracked my head.. They said radiator but I changed it three times and still the same.. Hope yours is the radiator though

Tbh mate if it ain't the rad I'll get it rebuilt, needs some love anyway as I've been neglecting her for ages now as other hobbies have taken over lol bout time I spent some money on her lol

That's why iv kept my c1j nice easy jigsaw puzzle for me to play with at the weekend when the mrs gets on my tits :)

Lol ha I've been thinking about an f7r conversions but can't bring myself to get rid of the c1j but really want to bin the carb so may go efi then Again will prob change my mind next week lol

I wish I'd of done it now and not the b18 but we will see in a couple of weeks how it turns out.. If I don't like the b18 then at least I can use the adaptronic on the f7r you know I get bored very easily :)

I'd pressure test it first and see if you spot any leaks before you write off the engine mate.
My guess is like you have already said, the rad has a slight crack into the oil cooler :agree:

Yeah I'm gona order a new rad and sep oil cooler as I'm 99% sure it's the rad and go from there pal :agree:
