not so long ago I put up asking about why I was leaning out high up the rev range (a sudden leaning off)

never done this before, I whipped the carb off and gave it a ggod clean, which seemed to have resolved the problem.

but after going out a drive at the weekend it was doing it again then all of a sudden juddering and starved of fuel.

so fuel pump must be knackered not giving me fuel pressure, however I replaced the fuel pump/filter last year so why would it give up so soon or is their anything else to check?
fpr is in good working order?

my tank was running low not empty but low would this make it difficult for the pump to pick up fuel?

do you get any spluttering and holding back at all at certain revs ?

When fuel low the aux tank transfers the reserve amount into the main tank (light illuminates). What jets are you running in the carb? is the accelerator pump working correctly? :)

does it idle ok at all ? and does it only splutter / hold back when boost kicks in
also did it just start playing up or after you changed something ?

What boost are you running and what are the AFR's at WOT when it starts leaning? You might emptying the fuel bowl. You can check the fuel pressure by tapping into the line, it should be about 4psi at idle and remain at 4psi above boost pressure. i.e. if you run 15 psi the fuel pressure should be about 19 psi. :)

idle ok
not changed anything
15 psi
ran slightly rich high tens all through rev range

I think ill try dizzy leads and plugs first just to rule that out then go onto fuelling

cheers

High 10's is quite rich. I'd be looking into the jetting. Do you know what jets are in the carb?

Yes, worth checking or changing the dizzy/rotor and plugs :)
