As above, where can i get pressed plates from with the letter 'F' and euro symbol. I found a company on fleabay but they only do the GB lettering.....

The plates with the 'f' on the end will get you pulled up all the time mate. Took mine off after 2 lots of fines. Go for legal pressed plates with no gb

Nightmare mate. Cheers for the heads up. I'll stick to the ones without GB then.

Just googled pressed plates, do they look better in the flesh?? Just look like normal plates in pics.

I think so but its personal taste, my plastic ones are tatty and need replacing so thought id have a change :agree:

I like the old black with silver lettering plates, but your asking for trouble if you fit them. :scared:

I looked at them and really like them but couldnt be bothered with the chew of getting pulled.:cry::sad2:

Where did you get it from mate? thats what i want but got advised against it. My 5's not a daily runner just a weekend thing so wont be out much in it.

I've been using them for over 7 years and not had a problem either. Got my new ones off eBay too.

just checked my ebay account,i cant find them. i must of bought these 3 year's ago, but if i remember i searched for german pressed plate's and asked them for "f" decal.i also bought the holder's for the plate so i could swap them over the MOT(euro citreon dealership).used to do a 80 mile trip 3 year's ago every weekend to see a good friend burton to mansfield. and the a38 has lots of undercover police.many be lucky

i wouldn't grumble for that price. due to taste, i only put them on the sax-o-shite. OEM+;)

I agree the price is spot on and for the sake of 20 notes ill see what they look like on if they are no good ill keep OE ones

Your all very lucky then if you haven't got a fine. The coppers in teesside/yorkshire were hammering everybody for them at one point.

I get mine from an eBay seller called Paul roads 123, or something along those lines.
Legal sizes, postcodes etc. I got plain on my VW and GB on the 5.
