No it wouldn't cause boost loss

Thank you, that rules that out then. Must be this turbo blanket jobby obstructing the actuator
You probably have a boost leak. I doubt the turbo blanket is causing a proble. Its the seal ok on the carb lobster top

Good call, It seemed perfect when I refitted it.
Since putting back together I've had to turn the idle screw coz the revs were way too low but I might have just but the cable in a different position in the clamp?
Also it's popping alot now when I come off the throttle.
Changed the ac to 1mm btw.
Afr on wot comes down to about 11.4 now

11.4 sound okay or should open the ac jet up a bit?
Only running 15 psi
Turn the boost up to lean it off
