clio 172 cam cover

I know the cam covers are matched to the heads but has anyone succesfully used a different cover on a different head? Ive just bolted an unknown but good cover on a 172 head and the cams nip up solid! Not even able to move the exhaust cam with a ratchet.:crap:

I guess I could get it line bored but can't be doing with the cost.

ai they are matched mate, sometime you can get away with it but seems in this instance you havent
