take the ferry across and exchange them
ferry is approx £350 return + fuel

or get him to pay 1/2 of the costs

thanks mate but my car isnt taxed or insured would defo have to send it on a truck. might work out too much to be worth the headache. i was mainly after his gear box and lsd for my five and would have sold the rest for parts.

have a look online and get some quotes but most charge £1.50 to £2, may be more now, but something like this a mile as a rule:agree:

Shiply is awesome, I bought my 11 turbo from Jimgtt from rtoc via ebay and got it picked up from Torquay, and delivered to Norwich for £200 which was a bargain saving me 2 trips/fuel etc :)

shiply is good.

would it not be cheaper to hire a flatbed? and just go on a road trip.
