Are you talking a tuners group A carb or a proper one?

Tuners call their carbs group A and all that they have done is over enlarge the main jet to flood it with fuel.

There is a thread for a what a real group A carb is like... Do a search, I'm just on my phone at the moment.

To know exactly what you have got you will need to take the carb off and measure your jet sizes. Best to use calipers to do this. :agree:

If you can take a picture of the venturi and stick it up on here we'll be able to tell you if its had an enlarged venturi
Either way the best one to go for is a standard venturi with the carb rejetted correctly
