Was going to put this in the noob section but i think you have to be a full member? also i take it as i can't view the full classifieds this is also the case?

Anyway hi RTOC currently serving 4th tour in Afghanistan but due home a week saturday all going to plan thank fook !! looking for a weekend toy/something to tinker with when i'm home, always wanted one since having the 1.3 event in dark silver when i was a lad ha, so i'm looking for a 5 say up to £2k with some MOT, i understand this is a small budget. I don't mind travelling for the right one but i'm based in cornwall so south west would be a bonus.

Hello Karl and welcome to RTOC.;) non members can view one of the classified sections in which most members use to sell their cars. Also non members can view the general boards only.

welcome to the club pal, when you back from duty? you might be able to source a car from someone on here or possibly at the National day at Castle combe in June. If your really lucky someone might be going and wants to sell their car. :agree: Good luck with your search and as Matt said in the above post you are in the right place to find a 5. 2k should get you a running one.:)

Welcome along chap. £2K should give u a decent enough budget to get a car with a mot on. Mike at GT turbo spares has cars- they're a little bit north of £2K, but might be worth considering (I got mine from him).

Hi all thanks for the replies, i've been offered one from a guy on here but the link to view the car on here requires full membership! so i have sent him my email fingers crossed.

Due back from here next saturday cant wait!! i will join as a full member when i get chance, is it just a one payment a year of £15? seems reasonable for the tech help alone!

Yeah, I just thought it was worth mentioning. It could be a well put together car, I'd hate to see someone go and buy it thinking it was the real deal - only to find out it's a jazzed up Campus.
