liners scratched

in the middle of fitting my cam and other engine bits and have found some scratches on the liners. they can not be felt with a finger nail apart from liner 3 that has 1 you can. i have placed the piston at the bottom and it holds some oil i put in. so what causes this and will a rehoning clear it up.

if your unsure just remove it and re-hone,dont forget to fit a new liner seal.

or if it is that bad replace with a better donor piston and liner,dont forget to use your old bearing shells.

cheers went down the route of having them rehoned came out well and new shells througout the bottom end.
