Who watches what? :confused:
Fast & Loud got to be my favourite for many reasons, Extreme Car Hoarders is a new one, only two shows in, first one not so good, second better but I do think its one to watch and will get better. :agree:
As for wheeler Dealers, I watch it, but that crap that comes out of Mike's mouth just makes me want to mute the TV till he off the screen, and will he ever learn how to hand shake? :laugh:
Used to like America Hot Rod too back in the day, but that went to pot when he died. :scared:

Wheeler dealers is good, but Brewer grinds my shit. He was alright in the early ones, but he's morphed into some fat mockney who looks like he's been involved in an explosion at a wotsit factory.
Way too scripted. And for once I'd love to see ed covered in shit and grease like i am when I finish work.

LOL cracked me up when he bought it back for £9500 OK intercooler / rad setup was nice think they said £900 and remap not sure on price but apexi ecu used so all in prob £1k for ecu and map (they could have got that power on a std ecu map). The guy was done

yeah they did a cossie on series1 but theres been some class cars on the show so worth a watch goobs
The guy that remapped the RX7 "Pip" is the guy that runs WGT where we've had rolling road days in the past. He really knows his stuff.

I remember seeing on eBay a year or two ago a grey 5 GTT for sale with it saying about being a TV show rebuild and whoever comes to see it would be filmed etc, no mention what program that was and not seen anything about that since! Anyone know anything or just poor sales tactics? :confused:

Turns out my sky box can recored two channels at once, RESULT! I noticed their replaying the old "classic rescue", the old porches they did in orange was on. :cool:
Well, il have to add that Sunday one to the planner to. :D

You can record 2 channels while also watching a program on the planner which you previously recorded too.Sorry I used to work for sky so thats my tech side coming out...

The blue one with the yellow interior was kicking around on ebay a few years back. I remember Roland from GT Tuning telling me he had in it for some work and it wasn't in the best of shape. That was probably 10+ years ago.

There was a clip with him saying he heading to the work shop and you see him driving down the road and couldn't help but noticed he was driving down the other end of my road! So the work shop must in Eastbourne? :confused:
Just finished watching it also was a good programme I enjoyed it. Alot about history but the mexico is a historic car.
it was ok didnt show enough building thou but im watching the wheelers mk1 episode again now i recorded ages ago as ive got the bug didnt realise you were so close to me i may be going to spedeworth arlington tomorrow for some racing:laugh:

I've spent the last 3-4 weeks watching all the Street Customs Episodes (West Coast Customs) on their youtube channel as I dont have sky. Theres a bit of bullshit on there but mainly they just make some sick custom cars. well worth a watch as the quality of work is shit hot.

I've still gotta say, Fast and Loud aka Gas Monkey Garage, is still by far my favourite! :cool: Even tho you may not see much of the build some times etc, it's just well put together show and RR makes good viewing. I'm in the states late August, and about two hours away from Texas, might road trip it to their work shop, plus the Mrs has got a thing for Richard so won't be hard to convince her for a detour. :laugh:

My body shop pal was saying he saw that escort last summer being test driven doing laps around his industrial estate, so that program defently got its workshop in Eastbourne. Maybe over the next couple of show il be able to sus out where and go have a nose and maybe hassle them todo a 5. :laugh:

Sundays "for the love of cars" or whatever it's called was surprisingly good I must say. :agree: It wasn't at the top of my list to watch but I think that Phillp and Ant work fairly well together on screen with the mix matched personally's that made it more watchable. :cool: It's kinda more of the history than the build, looked pretty awesome too. :agree:
Not much to add about Car Hoarders, was last show, properly the only series their film? But does have potential if take out aload of the drama and show more build progress. :)

I noticed the pump'd up front to. :scratch: Did a good job on that, fair amount of history about the car to that I've not seen on other mini resto shows. Will watch the VW shows when I get in. :)

looks like the rs escort is a mk3 rs1600i, my mate had one of these from new in 1984 lovely car and same seats (rolltops) that i had in my old escort, bernies got a deloern to do this week, not sure on for the love of cars this week:agree:

I think they didnt get the front suspension trumpets in correctly, theres no way that should have sat that high. Still cracking show though.
I was just amazed at the prices the cars actually fetched at auction when the show was all finished. That delorean went for a small fortune. I remember seeing one for sale at a local garage for £12k a few years back and I was tempted to buy it myself. Wish I had done now!

Although the last season was a bit bad when he bought that upset womans dead fathers Pantera and she only sold it to them cheap as he promised to restore it and even fly her down to see the restored car........ then 5 mins later he flogs it to a couple of other guys for a massive profit. I thought that was a bit out of order.

I was lucky enough to fly to Dallas back in May with my work, and was only about 10 miles from their shop. Unfortunately didnt get time to venture over, but was pleased to see they had a Gas Monkey Bar & Grill actually inside the Dallas airport now, so could get a pint & a burger whilst i waited for my plane home!

Yep, started in the US last weekend I believe, so they are slightly ahead of us, but not by much.
Interesting that the WD Trading up Season 2 is starting in the US first, but then they did heavily pitch Season 1 at the US market (every sale they muttered about how much it was costing in dollars etc). Maybe they have taken a shine to Mike "hold out yaaaa hand!" Brewer!

apparently they have taken a liking to him but while ed was working in the garage on the cars for wheeler dealers mikes doing the trading up as hes on his own, ive got the first episode of trading up but not watched it yet I got it off torrent, episode 2 should be out too now, episode 1 starts in Australia where he buys a mint mk1 escort and brings it back to England to fix up and sale, ill probably watch later tbh

:laugh: very true!!!! Got to love a bit of Brewer, although id never buy a car from him seeing some of the judgement calls he`s made in the past with choices of cars to buy.
As a side note, that green lambo they got from Poland is back up for sale in this months edition of Classic Car magazine for £55k.

Yeah I did mention it to him but as you say it would prob need to be a car that was tidyish to start with and had a few minor faults.He's really normal and friendly I met him at the autosport show at the NEC in Birmingham.

believe it or not there on youtube we are on season 3 here now and youtube has all season 4 too,
I did noticed there ahead on YouTube when looking up fast and loud, but made the mistake trying to streem it to my TV, picture qty, well I may aswell be living in the 60's! :ashamed: il stick to using the iPad. :laugh:
