View Full Version : acauator pipes
I found this restrictor in one of the actuator pipes, is there supposed to be one in the other pipe as well.
Got to be some experts who know.
Can't say I've ever seen one myself before, pull it out, you don't really need it. :agree:
Somebody has tried to increase the boost with a restrictor. Oldskool trick
That's great, cheers guys:)

If I remember correctly when I fitted the GT Tuning in car adjustable boost kit "back in the day", that came with a restrictor like that, which you shoved in the actuator pipe so I bet thats what that is.
Not to be confused with the breather pipe restrictors, which do need to be there :D

I seem to remember mine was missing a breather pipe restrictor and it made it not run well. Is it just the one breather pipe which has a restrictor in it?

Yea, I didn't put it back in. the engine does not takeover very well, just assuming its the carb at the moment.
There are two restrictors in the standard breather setup:
