price advice on some parts

Trying to purchase a Phase 1 kit. Anyone has an idea as to price range. Kit is in good condition. The guy also has a brand new five gt turbo gearbox. Never used in his spares shed. He said to make an offer...confused howuch i should offwr. Btw hes got a couple of performance cams for the c1j this kit and gearbox together.

I can't help you on prices bud but I could be interested in one of the cams if he's selling and your not buying :D I'm after a 285. Keep us posted if you can :)

The best way to deal with "make an offer" types is to face them head on.
It's their item and they have an idea of what they're looking for, despite
all and any protestations to the contrary. So, your statement to the seller
is "name your price..." From there any negotiations begin. It saves you the
embarrassment you're presently facing.

Thanks pete. Thats what id do normally but this guy doesnt need to sell. He has sunny gtir. Rs turbo. Xr3i bit and these. Oh and about 10cars sitting here there everywhere. He said he would get everything together and give me a final price. Just want to knw what ball park figure to try and barter down to.;)
