Help identify

Can someone tell me what this is ? It's part of the engine loom but to me looks like part of it is missing

Its a relay but the plastic top has come off it :)

It should just pull out and have about 4 pins on it might be 5 pins i forget now :D

Cool, thanks for that, where does it normally attach or does it just hang ?

Im not 100% sure but i seem to remember they attach to some kind of clip. I just did a quick search but couldnt find any pictures will have another go :)

Me too but seems to do absolutely nothing as I've removed it? Might be for front fogs as I don't have any.

could be your fan/anti-perc relay

I've looked at that thread but doesn't mention the relay, no worries I will find a nice place to put it when the engine is back in,

judging by the fact its by the front engine mount, it could be the relay that hangs off the plastic that stops muck hitting the alternator.... has a clip on there.
