I see the badges sold for £200.....
After all the kerfuffle I would have withdrawn them from sale until it had quietened down a little.

No, it's worse! Threats were made about coming down South and damaging cars!
More like damaging friends and family. It was quite racey for a sunday morning.

Yeah it seems a little baggy if anything I'll have a go at trimming it if it looks dodgy.

Dale was referring to a pair that I bought. As said, it seems some trimming might be required. I've not have a play as yet. The fronts aren't too bad, but they have plastic 'whiskers' :D
These should be ok though.
Ph1 Front Shock?
Please note that I've not confirmed the part number.

back up again markey b's 5😆😆
Looks like the current owner is fed up with it and tbh it never seemed like Mark ever had it running exactly right either. The time money and effort spent on this car over the last 10yrs and yet here is an advert where breaking the car is being considered. I think it's just one of 'those' cars :(

It's those fking vnt's, everyone that's had one claims they're awesome but the 18months of threads that follows why they try and set them up just says avoid..
He doesn't have a clue, should have taken the vnt off and just had a normal turbo.. He may have had be car running some nice normal power.. MB might have enjoyed taking the engine out every month to fix split liners, blown gaskets, but that new guy clearly hasn't got a clue..
Wrong car, wrong owner..
He should just break it..

Only reason to go OE is to get the plastic effect behind the paint but that looks like its been painted over loads and lost that.

There are vids of it. I don't have one myself.
It's not too bad. Kind of like a sidey but out the back as no second box.
It sounds mad on over run in the vids.

Is it worth the club buying that manual and scanning it into the site?
I'd say so Trev. Let's get it bought! Before another club does......
I tried to buy it. I asked for confirmation of exactly what sections were included. They said they'd let me know, but obviously someone bought it as listed.
Not to worry Matt.
We'll try and jump on the next one that becomes available for the club.
I did however, buy the Thatcham Manual ;)
Found this but looks a rather large download

Hmm, there are only one or two individual R5 diagrams listed, and one complete manual for the C1J but both appear to be in foreign languages.
I couldn't see a complete manual for the R5 in English. :(
Got to put my hand up to this. I made an offer and it was accepted. I'd be happy to lend it to the club or whatever to get copied.

Anyone need rivets for the side skirt clips ?. Only 1 set of ten rivets available but cheaper than the usual sources. Perhaps if someone has a contact at Peugeot we could find out the Peugeot part number. We may be able to get them cheaper than Renault and have them in the shop to go along with the side skirt clips ?.

EDIT 2 - After a bit of googling I have just enquired about a bulk quantity of these Peugeot rivets. If the price is favourable I will let Ian and Dale know all the details.

So after some more searching it seems the rivets were used on not just Renaults and Pugs.

Although they look decent, if it were me I would save my money and put it toward one of the 2.5' ones being fabricated by matty currently.
But then I suppose it depends what your after I guess. If its for a std car and just to tidy things up then it would probably be worth it, but if your looking for any performance gain then I wouldn't bother.
Agreed. This might be a good replacement for the standard item and looks to include a lambda port. If it's quality is sound then for that price it's excellent.

Lots of items but a lot of scrap, good price for the items but its the space to put it all and sort out. With the way prices are going I can see in there that you could get the £1k back quite quickly selling the items but would it be worth the hassle doing all that work splitting it up and posting. If restoring, I would look at the bits you need rather than going this route as will be more hassle in long run.
