How much more isit when declaring an engine? ie 1.8 turbo.. im currently with graham sykes paying £770 with mods delcared that i have.. Coming up to 2 year NCB in june..

How much it costs will be down to the complex factors/mix of driver, car, where it's kept and what cover you want.

Ring your insurance and say 'if I changed the engine, to <blah>, what would the cost be, all other things being equal.' Then shop around.
